Program Details
Room Setup: Setup one table at entry for teens to draw out nouns and adjectives to make their spy name. Set a second table with mustaches attached to straws. Each teen may pick one mustache after they have their nametag. Setup Laser Course using crepe paper and masking tape. Attach crepe paper to wall and to tables to make the course.
Logistics: When teens come into the program, they will draw one adjective and one noun to make their Secret Agent Name. They should write their name on a nametag. Once they have their nametag, they may select a mustache.
For the scavenger hunt, split secret agents into teams (size of their choosing—10 team limit). Teams will be given a logic clue to solve and send them to a location within the library. Once there, they will approach a staff member, who will give them a code to crack. When they have correctly cracked the ENTIRE code, they should return their supplies to the staff desk and write the full and correct code in their SPY PAD. The staff member will then give them their next logic clue to send them to their next location.
